FAKTOR PENCETUS KEJADIAN TIDAK MEMULAI PENGOBATAN PADA PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS RESISTEN OBAT DI PROVINSI BANTEN

Abstract


There are around 52% of TB cases that have not been discovered or have been discovered but have not been reported. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the incidence of not starting treatment in drug-resistant tuberculosis patients in Banten Province in 2023. This research uses a mix method approach, namely quantitative research, the research design uses descriptive quantitative research methods with a Secondary Data Analysis approach (ADS) from the Tuberculosis Information system of the Banten Provincial Health Service. Health worker informants at four drug resistance service hospitals in Banten Province, namely Dr. Dradjat Prawiranegara Hospital, Serang Regency, Banten Hospital, Serang City, Dr. Adjidarmo Hospital, Lebak Regency, Berkah Hospital, Pandeglang Regency. The percentage of drug-resistant tuberculosis patients who started treatment in Banten Province in 2022 has not yet reached the target (100%). There is a relationship between history of side effects and distance to the incidence of not starting treatment for drug-resistant tuberculosis. All informants stated that they had conveyed TB RO information to patients and families regarding TB disease and incidents of not starting treatment; there is a medication-taking supervisor, namely a cadre; medication supervisor is family, and community as well as social media such as WhatsApp groups and telephone; all informants stated that they had implemented strategies to overcome TB RO, namely, one of them was always providing counseling and education as well as coordinating with various parties in the treatment of TB RO.

 

Abstrak

 

Terdapat sekitar 52% kasus TBC yang belum ditemukan atau sudah ditemukan namun belum dilaporkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor- faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian tidak memulai pengobatan pada pasien tuberkulosis resisten obat di Provinsi Banten tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode mix method yaitu penelitian kuantitatif, desain penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan Analisis Data Sekunder (ADS) dari sistem Informasi Tuberkulosis Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Banten. Informan tenaga kesehatan di empat rumah sakit layanan resisten obat di Provinsi Banten yaitu RSUD dr.Dradjat Prawiranegara Kabupaten Serang, RSUD Banten Kota Serang, RSUD dr.Adjidarmo Kabupaten Lebak, RSUD Berkah Kabupaten Pandeglang.  Persentase pasien Tuberkulosis Resisten obat yang memulai pengobatan di Provinsi Banten tahun 2022 belum mencapai target (100%). Terdapat hubungan antara riwayat efek samping dan jarak dengan kejadian tidak memulai pengobatan tuberkulosis resisten obat.  Semua informan menyatakan bahwa sudah menyampaikan informasi TB RO kepada pasien dan keluarga terkait penyakit TB dan kejadian tidak memulai pengobatan; ada pengawas minum obat yaitu dari kader; pengawasan minum obat adalah keluarga, dan komunitas serta sosial media seperti grup Whatsapp dan telepon ; semua informan menyatakan sudah melakukan strategi untuk menanggulangi TB RO, yaitu salah satunya selalu melakukan penyuluhan dan edukasi serta koordinasi dengan berbagai pihak dalam pengobatan TB RO.
